Terraforma Design is a landscape design-build company based in Savage, Minnesota. The years of experience, a specialty in listening to the needs and desires of our clients and a firm understanding of the installation process ensures your next landscape project is in great hands with Terraforma Design.
Terraforma Design is a member of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) as well as the Association of Professional Landscape Designers (APLD). Craig Trenary, Co-Owner, is also a member of the Landscape Design Committee within the MNLA. Our affiliation with such organizations provides us strategic connections and keeps us current with innovative trends and practices in our industry. Through our memberships, we are able to promote professionalism and to help keep our green industry strong.
Because we run our own landscape crews and have a select group of service partners executing the installation of our work, we are able to stay in close communication with our installation teams throughout the entire project. Every job site is visited daily by our staff to ensure the client's vision is implemented and complete satisfaction is realized.
Our business is generated mainly by personal referrals. We also maintain strong relationships with quality builders and remodeling contractors that look to us to complete their projects in a professional and timely manner.

Craig Trenary, Co-Owner of Terraforma Design, graduated in 1993 from South Dakota State University with a bachelor's degree in Landscape Design. Before starting on his own, Craig partnered with three landscape design-build companies in the Twin Cities area. Since 1994, he has been designing and installing thoughtful, creative landscapes of all scopes and styles thus cementing strong relationships with many suppliers and service partners. Craig is a landscape professional certified by the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) and the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI). |

Dave Yetzer, a partner in the business, lives south of
the Twin Cities with his wife and three daughters. He has
a degree in Landscape & Horticulture and has fifteen
years of experience installing landscaping. He enjoys the
interaction with clients and making sure everything is built
to last while ensuring our clients are completely satisfied
with the results of their project. |

Chris Barber is a landscape designer with degrees in
Landscape Design and Construction as well as Wilderness
Management. Chris worked as a National Park Service
Ranger before becoming involved in landscape design. He
lives in Minneapolis with his wife and 4 year old son and
uses his knowledge of the natural environment to create
intelligent landscapes. |

Jay Siedschlaw has over 15 years of design experience
and teaches the Landscape Design & Construction
program at Hennepin Technical College. He also has a
degree from South Dakota State University in Landscape
Design. Jay lives in the north metro area with his wife and
two young children. Jay is passionate about his family and
the outdoors. |

Audrey Schmitt is pursuing a degree in Landscape
Design and Construction, and joins us this year in a
support role to make all of our projects run smoothly.
Audrey lives in Chanhassen with her children on an
historic property that she is inspired to restore. She prides
herself in creating intelligent design solutions that are
unique. |

Tim Ludwig has been a crew foreman for us for several
years. He is the key to transforming our designs into
reality. His extreme attention to detail is one of his many
skills that bring excellence to each project. Tim was born
and raised in Cannon Falls. He still calls this area home
and especially enjoys fishing the local lakes. |
